The real-life politics simulator

Run a real country. Live with the consequences. BlindSpot puts you in charge of a real nation — its real economy, its real rivals, the crises it actually faces — and an AI simulates how the world responds to every decision you make.

What is BlindSpot?

BlindSpot is a political strategy game you play in your browser. You choose any real country, name yourself its new leader and take office today. There is no fictional kingdom and no tutorial island: you inherit the debts, the unions, the central bank, the neighbours and the grievances that country really has.

Each turn opens with the morning's front page. You read the situation, hear your cabinet, and sign a decree — pick one of the proposed options or write your own order in your own words. Then the simulation answers: markets move, ministers resign, the street fills or empties, foreign capitals call.

A politics simulator where nothing is scripted

Most government games run on fixed event lists. In BlindSpot, every situation, newspaper and reaction is written for your game by an AI that knows the country you lead. Two players who rule the same country make different choices — and end up in different histories.

Behind it all sits THE SYSTEM: the engine that watches how you govern, learns your instincts and hunts your blind spot — the weakness you cannot see in your own way of ruling. Lean too hard on security, spending or popularity, and it will make you pay exactly there.

What you manage

Three resources keep your government alive: the Human Engine (your people and their labour), Supply (food, fuel, power) and Hard Currency (the money that pays for everything). Let one hit zero and your regime mutates under pressure; leave it there and the state collapses.

Five tracks profile how you rule — state control, markets, welfare, security and public opinion — and your political capital decides how far you can push a bold decree before the system pushes back. A DEFCON dial shows how close the region is to open conflict.

How a game ends

There is no turn limit. Your rule ends when the state collapses, when you resign, or when the AI judges you have reached a point of no return. Then history delivers its verdict: what you achieved, what it cost, and the trade-off that defined your time in office. You can share it — and challenge a friend to do better.

Who it's for

Anyone who has watched the news and thought "I would have done it differently". Fans of political simulations, president simulators, geopolitics and grand strategy; students of economics and international relations; and anyone curious how hard real trade-offs are when every option hurts someone.
